The ante-natal clinic is open on Thursdays, 11:00am - 11:30am

Appointments

Appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance by telephone. Please call between 8:30am and 6:30pm to make an appointment. Urgent problems will always be dealt with on the same day where possible. Please be prepared to give brief details of your problem to the receptionist so that your call can be dealt with most effectively.

For non-urgent appointments, please call after 10:00am - when the phone lines are less busy.

Appointments are booked for 10 minutes.

Home Visits

If possible, we request patients to get to the surgery where more comprehensive care can be offered.
If a home visit is absloutely required, please call us on 0208 630 3410 before 10:00am to arrange. Home visits are normally made after morning surgery

Available during normal surgery hours.

Practice Nurse

The Practice Nurse offers the following services, by appointment:

1. Taking samples
2. Ear syringing
3. Dressings and removal of stitches
4. Flu and pneumococcal vaccinations
5. Children's and travel vaccinations
6. Pre-pregnancy counselling
7. Asthma checks
8. Diabetes checks
9. Blood pressure checks
10. Health checks
11. New patient checks
12. Dietary advice
13. Hormone replacement therapy
14. Other injections (e.g. B12)
15. Cervical smears

Prescriptions

48 hours notice is required for repeat prescriptions. They may then be collected during normal surgery hours.
Repeat prescriptions are accepted by written request only. Telephone requests for repeat prescriptions are not accepted, in case of errors of miscommunication.
When requesting a repeat prescription by post, a stamped, self addressed enevelope must be include with the letter of request.

Prescriptions can be collected during normal surgery opening hours.

We no longer accept prescription requests from pharmacies. We would like you to request your medicines directly at the practice or via email or using online services (registration required).

Telephone Advice

The Doctor can offer advice over the phone where necessary. The best time to call is after morning surgery - between 11:00am and 12:00pm.

Test Results

Blood test and X-Ray results are available 10 days after they were taken. Please call after 11:00am to collect your results. Test results are only given to the patient whom they relate to, in order to maintain confidentiality. If you wish your results to be given the information, prior permission must be granted.
